heavenly pleasure! I would grab a bit o' gluttony, too! Well done, and congratulations for making it through! Shelly

It sounds like you did it up right and have reason to be congratulated.
The hardest thing for me to stay away from is good bread.
I could live on bread and butter and coffee and be satisfied. But, alas that's not the way to go.

Congratulations Naut!
Well done! That Thai sauce escapes me too at the moment, I even checked the fridge because we usually have a jar of it on hand, must have been used up. Do you feel better? You must, being ten and a half pounds lighter! I'm sure you will keep the balance between Vanity and gluttony so there is no rebound!

Naut my friend ...the nurse in me just wants me to get out that broom
and come and beat you up. Crash diets that have such AN AMAZING result, are extremely dangerous on the heart, causing shock, with dehydration and attacking of the muscles. Heart is all muscle...think about that for a bit. Now I know that you wil lbe very quickly back to your breads, Latte's Scotch etc.......then a quick diet when the scales groan and the pants are tight at the waist. So No I won't Congratulate you our friend ......I shall worry about you instead.

I think we all need some of both. All work and no play makes one.....hey, now how does that go....? Oh well, it's not GOOD, I know that much! I'm glad to see you're very mentally/emotionally healthy and do one and then the other. Nice balance.

So, naut, tell me: what's the point of this diet hell if you eat it all back in ONE single morning, hey?! (yep, you guessed it right: NO diet for this lady, no sir, no!)

Oh, that Gluttony is a sly fellow...
speaking with all the little moans and cries of those hungry little fat cells you have just emptied...
In any case, congrats on those 10.5 lbs... may they never return!
(I have added the link to photos of the painting of Mt Kilimanjaro, to the appropriate post.)

I've never had to purposely alter my dietary habits, for health OR vanity.
Consequently, the closest that I can come to identifying with your particular hell, is quitting smoking, which is my current preocupation. I cannot imagine that either of us has done anything to deserve having to endure such torture, in this lifetime, and I think this life is THE only one, we will ever, ever have! Another thing, if there actually IS a God, she is definately female! A female with PMDD! A female with PMS, PMDD, Post Partum Aggression, Homicidal Hormone Happenings, and various assorted disorders that there aren't yet names for, proving this to actually be true.
A male diety would be much more like me, or perhaps, you. Sigh, IF ONLY!
