Long-time friend of my ex- has the name Sol Wright.  You can imagine the tiresome jokes we've heard about that one.  He has a fringe too.  A white frizzy one now.

I have a close friend whose blood runs hot against men, and her experience has borne out her right to rant given the least opportunity.  Makes me sad, though, that she feels she has to fight against 'them.'  I fail to help her realize that her own actions invite if not encourage the sort of man who intends to take advantage.  I'd be the last woman to say that inequities don't exist bigtime; however I've seen the same game played with genders in the opposite positions, and it was no prettier.

Well at least you enjoyed the ambiance and the impetus for inspiration...enjoyed.  Elyse

A great post luv and Sol sounds like a real winner where the female sex is concerned. No matter, getting out and about was great for you and have a nice day

I think you always get more out of things, see more,
than the lesson as prescribed.

That so sounds like the sort of place that I would love to eat in, chat and
have coffee and cake, perhaps a glass of wine.

Sounds like a nice "date".
Even though you have some disdain for his Don Juanisms and somewhat feminist assisms you still have a friendship of sorts, and that's a nice thing. oxoxox  I love the way you write. It's so easy to picture myself right there with you.
