I try hard not to repeat myself both in family life, with friends, and at Blogit.  But, it's getting harder and harder to catch myself at it.   I don't want to always be saying, "Did I tell you about.......?

It is a feature of our youth-worshipping culture

that age is disrespected and disregarded.  Part of callowness of the energetic and idealistic, but inexperienced.

It is not the case in many cultures that survival to elderhood is dishonored, and the valuable learning of a long life is held as inconsequential.

This is not the best atmosphere in which to grow old.

Oh Blah......let them roll their eyes, let them do whatever they need to
to make themselves feel superior.....I personally wil lread anything you write...you are always fresh and entertaining....you write such pictures so that I am right there amongst your group and I tell youse you just write on....and speak on......yes I got a little tired of my Dad's stories and he could be a bit boring and I can too...sometimes it is reliving a moment in time that we so enjoyed sometimes we just forget we already told it. Well if you write the same things over.....I probably won't remember that you did and will enjoy it all over again...fresh as todays bread. Love you to bits.
