Deep
I never looking down deep wells, but I get the feeling. Would you believe it Shobana when my mother was a small girl there was a well in the kitchen  which used to frighten her, one had to kneel and dip a bucket into it. Very convenient until the village flooded. Now your poem, yes you do seem as though you have been there. It is nice how you make it happen with thoughts darting from the well to the importance of its contents.
