When hearing great songs on the radio I do a lot of soul searching and thinking as well. I love my mother's XM radio. This is how music was meant to be presented.

That was a marvelous post. I had serius in the car but couldn't afford it after a year and just let it go. I think because of my age and I found myself emotionally disturbed listening to Fox or politics some where all the time. In any case I loved what you described, and I can't tell you how much you helped me with the following. I have 2 sons, probably your age or a bit older perhaps, and I do not have a relationship with the oldest and now the youngest-again. I freed myself from them in an e-mail I sent back to my youngest son last week. Yes, I am free now, and it is quite the best psychotherapy I have ever given myslef.
'The text is a way of saying that if, in your heart, or mind, you can be free, then you can really be free. Not exactly existentialism, not fate so much as a kind of do-it-yourself psychotherapy.'

You are so right!
They say that child-rearing helps people to connect with their pasts so that they can also mature, themselves. And dreams are the psyche's playground. Play is good, too, for trying out new ideas, finding new relationships among oneself and everything and everyone and every concept around oneself.
I just added pix to my latest entry that you, dsm_tchr, read while I was in the middle of constructing the entry.... Please come back.

It's amazing the power music can have to inspire, evoke a million feelings
and to just make us feel groovy...I enjoy instrumental New Age music the most.

good old music and if it takes you back to happier times and a nicer
place good foryou. I have a planer....Zorg but these days I don't need it like I once did. It saved my sanity many a timejust to go to my own place. You can shut out the abuse and too real life....but as I say....don't go there much nowadays.

Great blog ~

That song in itself is so special with my whole family - the kids and I would sing that song when they were young - and I mean young - like 4 and 6. One of our vehicles has the Sirius XM radio - (my husband's)

-however, I'm thinking about getting one. I enjoy hearing anything on that radio of his. Good suggestion ~ Elyse
