“In the fight between you and the world, back the world.”
I totally and completly disagree with this. I back "YOU" all the way. You decide, and stick to it, and you will always win. Ask any successful person and they will tell you that they were the first to decide that they ARE successful, the rest of the world just had to fall in line with your decision. so Plan to succeed (read my post with that title) and go for a huge success!!!

Though you've given ur take and comments on others' comments, I still
venture to say you write well and the writing just seems to flow.

you are writing really enjoyable work. You put me right involved with
characters and your stories are always interesting. and as for the self esteemm, oh that is a tough one. I never feel my work is as good as it should be.....I have even apologised about the inadequacy of something that has been published. You are right we are the world and we encourage each other and sometimes give critical advice, edit for each other, all sorts of support.  and if we never get past the rejection slips or self publish....doesn't mean we can't write....cos you can you do you are a published author on the net.

At least here, we get something we can use.
Not just a boilerplate rejection slip. To me the feedback is very useful. I always pay attention to it when something I wrote (so clear to me) is confusing to readers. I'm very grateful for comments. And you're doing fine! Even the best sellers (now) got kicked to the curb at first.
