Your hands are truly tied in this one! Your physical limitations preclude from accepting this huge responsibility and that is all that needs to be said. Your daughter needs to evaluate her life, it is going to slip away from her and she will regret these poor decisions. I will pray that she finds the needed hellp so her babies can have a chance at a good life! In the meantime, know that she is making these errors and you can't pick her up, this is her responsibility! sam And this is for you: Moody Blues, My Song.

Re: Elyse
It will probably take some hard bumps for her hit bottom. I can only follow your example. Thank you for the encouraging words.

Re: dancin', give it to God!
That is all I can do. However, it is hard to let go sometimes!

You know Dancin' I couldn't agree more with DSM ~ I have worn your shoes - the ordeal was --- did bring tragedy.  All I remember is praying and I mean nights and days --- sometimes weeping under the moonlight (alone) in my fields --- and finally resolve - Not my will but Yours Dear Lord...whatever it takes, please 'restore' ~ My prayers were answered and it was not pretty.  We're into about 3 years of sobriety and it took some heavy penalties in life.  Family was separated - boy child was incarcerated - pain and struggles more - however, with each peaceful day now I am thankful and yes, I will pray for this situation, before a tragedy could occur.  You are in my heart - the family is... (prayerfully).  Elyse
