I don't see it daily; it is total volunteer work we do and sometimes it is a few days out of a week, and often it is every week end. The job cuts in the real world will cut back badly on the volunteer work. We now have to find something that pays rather than do this freely.

I realize salt in amounts above and beyond reason is not good for us. In fact it is bad for us; however, I also realize almost 40% of those high blood pressure patients who go off salt all together do not see any decrease in blood pressure. Even what ever it is about how good or bad anything is for an individual alone it is our choice. This is totally different from a drug of any sort that has mind altering properties that often does cause them to harm themselves and others mentally, emotionally, physically. That is a whole different set of circumstances.

Well, when you have a government ran by pervious drug users then what do you expect? I expect it will get worse as time goes on. I pray that your work sees better results but I do not expect it. You must be a strong person to see that everyday.

Thre has been many meh busts here in NC for years. It is a horrible situation. There have been many lives here in NC that have been affected by such. Of course, our present government has done nothing on this front because they can not even figure out how to handle Iran much less meth dealers and producers.

That is so crazy I can not even start processing it ... In my work I see many that are as you described, in the grips of drug addiction... lives destroyed and minds obliterated by the constant need to feed their all consuming need and though I do conceede that salt is not the best for our health... I am still to find anyone who harms someone else because of salt addiction or is all consumed and suffering by the lack of it. Americans do consume way too much salt and it reaks havock with our organs... but in comparison to what drugs do to our organisms salt is as sugar would be to poison...
