I'll take the sizzeling onions and the latte please
I didnt know you had such amazing talent in describing the details of something you love. The food, the atmospher the saliva in my mouth was getting ready to devour the stuff you are about to give up. JUST DONT GIVE IT UP btw: I love cabbage!!!!

Re: Wow, did something hit you in the head?

heh... I had more to add, but hit the wrong key...

It is all very well to drop some pounds, and ease off unhealthful amounts of refined carbs and all... but any diet that is like dying is bound to fail just from the weight of resentment...

I eat soup because soup is tasty and good!  I make sure of that...

I use greens under that tasty scorched meat and onions and peppers and--well, anything that might traditionally go over starch.

I drink lots of really good water, adding lemon or lime or both when away from my own pure well water.

I eat less beef, less dairy...  less animal fat and more olive or canola oil.

I have lost 60 lbs.  It has taken a while... but I have not returned towards my high weight, nor am I tempted to binge because the cabbage has driven me mad with desire for anything and everything else.

Now and then, a one-bite dessert is not a bad thing.

Geeze, Naut, be nice to yourself!  Losing weight is a gift you give yourself...  the hell with hell!

Naut....I started on 4-1
I am at 10.2 pounds lost!   I bought a new grill......steaks, boneless chicken breasts, and salads.  Fruit for desert....but on Saturday...if I am down from the previous Saturday....I get to binge!   Also exercise bike 3 miles in the morning and 3 miles in the evening ( this is important because I am still working on rebuilding the use of my leg.....

We can make it.....40 pounds is my goal!

I don't mind cabbage on occasion. The kids all complain loudly that the home has a certain aroma whenever I boil it, though. Love it julienned and sauteed...that's a really good way to eat it, if one must...

Oh, and PS can we all just come and DINE at your house??? It sounds like you are a foodie extroadinaire...(sorry, this is probably not helpful right now).

I am crying for your loss of that wonderful food . . .  my newest venture is to eat as much food raw as I can.  Friends tell me it is wonderful and cures all ails.  Does it really matter if we have the secret to slimness when we have to abandon other loves whom we have loved so very, very well?      Phoo.

Dear Nautikos
I mourn for you my dear friend such sins you must have committed. Please do not discuss them here on Blogit as a process of this Hellish trip. You have made this attempt too funny. Great post. Good luck and may this be the best soup you ever ate.
