Shobana, there is no replacing that...what you refer to.
Call it love or affirmation. If you cant get it with that close, personal intensity, you have ti get it via close friends and relatives. Failing that you just try to belong intensely to a sub-cultural group of any kind, religion or neighborhood. Failing that, well, you have sme lonely and sick individuals who simply live less quality lives, and fewer years. This is more common than you can even imagine. It is a big reason why social consciousness is important. Why they call it the lord's work. And, why your poem is so beautiful.
