Ok I'll try take you on a journey down memory lane nack to your sixties, but for that I'll have to study this typical old English and sort things out also for myself.

I read Chaucer way back in the 1960'sso this is very refreshing for me.
As I remember some of the tales were quite shockingly bawdy. I look forward to more reading here so that I can wander down memory lane without actually rereading.

I really must pick a copy of Canterbury's tales somewhere. So far I had
vaguely heard of it, but ur write-up is driving me to read it.
