This is so moving. Ed and I visited the Holocaust Museum just outside Jerusalem some years ago. I didn't want to go; thought it would be too harrowing. It was harrowing, but also deeply, deeply moving, especially the Children's Memorial. Every child's name is read out in a continuous loop. It's dark inside, but there is a central column made of glass, with candle flames eternally flickering. By a clever use of mirrors, the flames are reflected over and over, as you look up, down and through the column - they seem to go on forever. A light for every child. No one came out of there with dry eyes.
