Nothing like that
in Japan... but they have lots of fake plastic restaurant dishes used to advertise outside a restaurant what is being served within. Couldn't really supply the German supermarkets with fake food as it is cooked!!

Seems pointless to me.
Unless they're dealing with real customers, real deals with shipments coming late or wrong, bosses who don't know their shoes from their hats, and the vagaries of things that go wrong with freezer units and air conditioners, etc., they won't really learn much but how to scan a bar code.
