I can think of a lot of little gadgets and gimicks in carry on luggage
that might arouse the inspector's interest, but I'm not surprised the guard in this case didn't recognize "Dr. Who." Such people aren't particularly creative, and in that setting they have NO sense of humor.

Heck, I take my sonic screwdriver everywhere.
It not only can write invisible messages on 'psychic paper,' it also has a nifty finepoint regular nib, and a blacklight on the other end, AND makes a cool whirry sound..

I loved the old Dr. Who wayyyyyyyyyyy back. I always said that you had to
be of a certain mentality to watch the show.....I wasn't sure whether I was praising myself or not.
