wow I can see that this is a HOT topic and that everybody has an opinion
I certainly do, and my blood is working over time right now :) I know your question was rhetorical becauase the answer is too obvious. only to those who have eyes. However, reading the comments made me want to scream with how someone can have eyes, but not see. Perhaps they dont want to see and I certainly will not convince them to see, although I see that you are trying.
As the rev. Right (who is always wrong) has taught Obama well, "The chickens have come home to roost!!!" otherwise, how would explain someone like Obama being the president of the united states, and the most powerful man in the world????
"Obama is only trying to do what is right" LOL LOL LOL

This is a brilliant piece on the ignorance, inept, poorly behaving numskulls named Obama and Biden. However, the situation is only being bandied about all over the world, it is far more complicated than what these people are making it to be. I don't think a world leader has ever shown worse behavior to other leaders in the world than this man. This stupid dinner pull off in Washington recently was 3rd grade childish behavior. He is a disgrace to our country; having said that, he is sending messages loud and clear to those with whom his allegiance lies. He is vulgar but not stupid as he appears to right thinking people. He is pulling the unpardonable. He knows that, Biden does not, he is a dumb jerk.

I remember many saying he lacked the experience to be president! I think he is misunderstanding of foreign policy and I think it is commonplace for the Democrats. To even utter insult is insulting. Clinton failed when he took no action regarding the bombing of the USS Cole. My biggest concern is what is President Obama agenda? With the health care issue easing up on the headlines perhaps more focus will be put on his 'agenda!'
Thank you for taking the time to read my saga. I have been trying to find a way to shorten the posts but it is so involved. I have the answer to Tzippy's question but I am using this as a precursor to my novel so I may continue to the end. But I am telling you this because you provided the answer and I talked with Elyse and she concurred! So thank you! Shelly

No matter what one thinks of Israel and it's building efforts, Obama shouldn't have treated the leader of the country as he did. Obama just has no class........

It's surreal to watch our president act as if terrorist organizations, autocracies and outright dictatorships are morally superior to Israel's rule-of-law democracy.
Obama's unreality extends to the assumption that Israel, faced with threats to its very existence, can be bullied by a White House aligned with its enemies.
I have to admit that the Israeli government's capable of doing stupid, counterproductive things. Israel's raucous democracy sometimes falls hostage to nasty splinter groups.
But it remains the
only country in the neighborhood where an irate electorate can vote offenders out.
Does Obama honestly believe that turning against Israel will have
any positive effect on the Arab world's moral incompetence and ingrained anti-Americanism?
This all stems from his background...... a lifetime of extremist associations has infected Obama with an emotional loathing for the Jewish state and a romantic vision of Palestinian terrorists as freedom fighters.......

Though it is no secret that Obama never had love for Israel... it is kind of curious that he would pick this fight right now, in the midsts of the problems we are having with Iran. I think that if you take into consideration that also the United Kingdom has joined the US in its mistreatment of Israel using for an excuse the hit of the Hamas guy in Dubai... this matter is just too weird. What I think is happening is that the "good guys" namely the US ,the United Kingdom and some others, are setting up the stage for Iran to think Israel is all by itself, fallen into disgrace...and dare to attack it. The Israelis ( the "bad boys") then would have to retaliate. They would win of course because they always do and in the process they would hopefully destroy Iran's nuclear capability. The "good" guys and the rest of the world would then be less one mammoth head ache and though they would slap Israel's hand for going too far , they would make sure that everyone notes the retaliation was definitely self defense. Innocents will die but it would be collateral damage for the greater good. Hmmm maybe I am crazy or watching too much TV loll Be well Naut xoxoxo

I have major fears for Israel because of the way Obama is handling the situation. This could very well be looked at as a negative turning point. Only time will tell.

Re: No no, it goes like this. Isreal has gotten full support from the US for
No, dsm, it does not go the way you suggest! You simply did not read my post very carefully, otherwise you would have noticed that Netanyahu reiterated what has in fact been Israel's position for a long time - the two-state solution. What's more, Israel has made many concessions in the past, and she is ready to make more. But so far, any concessions she has made were made in the context of non-recognition of Israel by the majority of the states of the Arab League! People always forget that, or just don't know it...
However, as I said, Israel will certainly make more concessions But one she will not make (I fervently hope) - allowing a partition of Jerusalem. (In fact, even talking of 'East Jerusalem' is wrong in my view, as if such devision already existed! It's Jerusalem! We no longer talk about East Berlin and West Berlin, do we?! Remember that situation? Only that deviding Jerusalem again would be worse...) And the sooner the rest of the world, including the Palestinians, recognize that, the better...
And another thing people should finally recognize, namely that it has been Arab failure to accept the very existence of Israel, which has perpetuated the Palestinian situation. And while one must pity the ordinary Palestinians on purely humanitarian grounds, I have no sympathy whatsoever for their leadership...

No no, it goes like this. Isreal has gotten full support from the US for
decades. It is time for a two-state solution, but Isreal won't stop gobbling up what would be Palestine. Obama -- and i see no conflict in what Mitchell told Charlie Rose, that is true we cannot dictate to isreal what they can and cannot do --is sending the message that USA and Isreal are experiencing a divergence in wwhat was once mutually simbiotic interests. Since Isreal cannot stop this self-destructive behavior, Obama is pulling away. It's like being married to an addict. anything you do -- yell? laugh? punish? reward? makes things worse. The addict is responding more to your reactions than to the initial desire; and on and on, around and around. It's time to stop the madness and get off the merry-go-round. Thus Obama is pulling away.
And as for appeasement of Iran, etc. they are so anti-Isreal, anti-USA that nothing we do will impact their attitudes toward us. It may look as though we are appeasing, but we are simply doing what is right. How it impacts Iran matters, but not enough to prevent us from doing the right thing. It also impacts Norweigh, China, Brazil, Canada and Kentucky I imagine. But that's not going to prevent Obama from doing what he thinks is right: disempower the Isrealis' expansion and get both sides back to the table. JMO

My Answer
"Can Someone Tell Me What Obama is doing?"
hussein obama is a marxist, communist liberal (same thing) muslim who is determined to bring this nation to its' knees by every stroke of his pen and every action he takes. He grew up with influences from the worthless 60's hippie movement. He wants to redistribute our wealth to other and other nations. He wants every American to be fully dependent on the government (democrat dream). He hates Israel just like his true, but hidden, distain for America. He blames Israel and America for everything just like liberals here on Blogit do and those across the nation.
That is just a small part of what he is doing.
Of course, this comment is about 10% tongue-in-cheek due to the simplicity of the response but I think you get the picture.
By the way, GREAT POST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
