Now my friend you have gone and done it! You made this tough old crusty woman cry. You are a POET! not a person stringing words like pearls on a string but one weaving string and fitting diamonds into the weaving. Bless you dear lady.

I feel that this has manifested from a place deep within your soul
and it is the beauty of creation that gives birth to beautiful elgant things that grow and blossom and than fade away, that is the life.

Oh, Simone this is so sad, all that little flower went through, it is such a nice poem.

When you feel sentimental perhaps you will tell us how a little bird picked up a few of it's seeds and flew across a green meadow on it's travels. One day you saw to your amazement this beautiful swathe of color and realized the sacrifice had not in been vain.

I was so taken by this post because I once took a picture of a tree out back here, it was growning up through a crack in the rock of the pre-cambrian shield. You wrote about that flower so beautifully, I remember that fir tree.
