Or Soothe poetical frustration if trying
to pull daffodils.
Or make love to a sparkling silver stream.
To feel romantic amongst bright flushed apples.
Or stuff one’s head with violets as steam
rises o’er the meadow.

Yes CC I have been reading bits of Henry David Thoreau while here and thinking of how many poets have written of nature and romance and even Shakespeare -- ah, but there's always a new slant or vision to lend - I enjoy your poetry - the way you write ~ (and now I must try to catch up a bit while on to read tonight)

CC - this is just gorgeous..what you have written...it takes a lot to feel the romance and be in sync with nature and see it beyond what it seems to be.
