Re: ravenmarie
I wholeheartedly agree with you--I wish she realized her worth.

He is safe for her now. He is locked up and there is a limit to the damage he can do to her emotionally. Or so she thinks. Some times for some people it is easier to stay with what they know then go out and start over with someone else. I wish she realized that she is worth more then that and that she owes something to that baby of hers. I can sort of understand being in love with someone you knew outside. I can't understand falling for someone who is already locked up. I don't know I guess I cant really understand any of it.

Re: Somehow women (and some men) need to make up their minds to not
I think you hit the nail on the head. Women who don't value themselves tend to get pulled into all kinds of bad relationships. But change is possible because I was one of those "Smart women, foolish choices" back in the day!

Re: I think
you are correct about his saying everything she wants to hear. And, she has been in relationships where there was faithlessness so that may be a big part of it. My only consolation and hope is that she will find someone on the outside. She seems to steer clear of him when she is in a romantic relationship with someone on the outside. I pray it is someone higher up the food chain than the last few!

Somehow women (and some men) need to make up their minds to not
date or get involved with people with a criminal record. This may not be fair to those who are truly sorry and have changed, but why the heck take the chance? There are plenty of fish in the sea, and women need to value themselves and children enough to steer clear away from troubled men. It has to be a decision of the will as the heart is quite deceitful and so willing to believe lies!

What a difficult situation! I believe these men say the things women want to hear! It fulfills the emotional part of love! I think there is a great deal of security in knowing that they won't cheat on them and they have a false sense of a secure relationship! I believe in this case the man says everything she wants to hear and thus when the negative comes home to roost, it is denied because she sees a different person than what everyone else sees. She is being conned by a con and until she can face the fact that he is a killer nothing anyone can say will change it! He has to do something that will be outlandish before she realizes he is just nothing but trouble! Amd hopefully it is not to her or her son. A most difficult situation that is shrouded in mystery because there is no rhyme or reason to it! sam
