I know , I am so sick of watching people die. as the goverment caters to the young drug heads, ,with homes and food stamps phones cars , medical insurance. This area is crazy. every drive through window you go through has an old women working . As long as you have a child under 5 you get everything . as so does your man. Ore president said the young need to take care of their health. need to be in shaped to work hard and get the economy back on track. after they get ride of us. I am sick over this.

You are one of the lucky ones, you can do something . and you have your age working for you, If your health is not going to drain the monthly budget. People such as my children, and the people over 65 , my mother's Doctor, is rushing her through every test she can now, because soon she will not be able to. It a sad. sad world. I feel so bad for those people that work and pay into Social Security , most will not make it through the "Donut Hole" They talk about it on TV like it is just a small problem, It is a three year gap. Between SSI and SS . It is a goverment allowed game. If you happen to get disabled before you car retire, You can apply for SSI benefits until you are of age, to get the full SS benefits you spent your life paying into. That is when the you are thrown into the donut hole. all treatment ends, Because you are of age to be covered by medicaid , hoWever FEDERAL REGULATIONS PERMIT MEDICAID DENIAL OF PAYMENTS TO A dOCTOR. HOSPITAL, OR,PHARMACY IF THE PATIENT QUALIFIES FOR MEDICARE. BUT IS NOT ENROLLED. THE PATIENT CAN BE BILLED FOR THESE CHARGES. stating that if you were disabled for 24 months or more than you are disabled now. , When you go back to reapply. you are than told your income is to high. That is the donut hole, If you are strong enough to survive the three year gap. That is so cruel. My step father just fell into this a few months ago. It was shocking. He was dropped by his Dr. of years, and his Dr was getting ready to put him in the hospital because his stomach was so swollen and he had blood in his urine. He gets his medication though, He will be gone within a month or two,

Oh how I know. My heart surgery was 100,000 $.. If my wife hadn't had good group insurance, , , I fit into "their" disabled category. joab

OMG Sweet pain....Honey, it enrages me to read this. I recently learned that President Obama is trying to cut off SSI benefits to the disabled. This frightens me. It angers me even more so because what are we to do? There are those disabled who are able to work, but what for the ones who simply cannot?
I have told my roommate time and again that no one seems to take into account the challenged and the elderly. This HAS TO CHANGE, NOW. It seems our own government would rather send us all off to live in nursing facilities than to pay us money once a month. Well, I have bad news, Mr. President...
