I like your thinking when it comes to mathematics!

Awesome
Except on those so down days and it is 1 as in 2-2 leaves us only the minus signs. You are a magnificat mathematician.

Amen, Sister, Amen. Two plus two is absolutely five.

Problem sort of solved

I know it is foolish to try to explain

How a two and a two can be added and gain

slightly more substance well so I am told

Well tomatoes may gather a portion of mould.

Rice it expands when it sits in the pot

It isn’t the answer, but it’s all that I’ve got.

I think one must examine one’s fingers again.

The thumb does not count, I hope that is plain.

Now why did I not think before I began?

(It is really quite interesting).that was the plan.

But no, I had just a few moments to spare.

And if there were extras, I needed my share

I admit that I did have two eggs for my tea

And was I surprised when I found it was three.

I am trying to finish and just writing more

I just cannot prove that twice two will make four.

I am not really likely to try to deprive.

A couple of two’s who make it to five.

Great Work!
I love the perspective in this and the thoughts behind it, but I have one question:

2+2 doesn't normally equal 5?  Really?

Equation
So now you are a mathematical genius Shobana.I shall try to solve this problem or grow accustom to your theory. I usually take the easy way out, so I just congratulate you on your insight
