the unseen
Looking at it through your eyes Shobana, or maybe not, perhaps looking through my misty eyes I see the blue water gurgling and whispering bringing life to the arid desert. Your ship must sail on into unchartered waters. Very descriptive sorry for stealing.

I live in the desert and AHA, my ship has come in! lol What a marvelous poem, I loved how you set it up and then to close was a ship was brilliant! I could see the imagery all the way through my Shobana! Well, I am out reading finally and I have a story to share with you that I originally composed at CORNCRAKE's blog! So here it is:

My daughter (Jes) came to see me today and she ran me ragged! She is a hair stylist and she had to get scissors sharpened, and buy a blow dryer and get dress pants for work and on and on! But the most comical thing of the day was at the gas station. They have a booth and one can pay utility bills there! Also the filling stations in my town require payment up front and then they set the pump! My daughter was going to purchase $20.00! At one point the pump comes on and I begin filling the tank. I think it is going to stop at $20.00!  But it keeps going and I thought she had changed her mind, but it was suspicious since she only had the 20. At thirty dollars I am getting real nervous! She comes out of the station with the twenty in her hand and asks me what I am doing! I reiterated that I thought they had turned the pump on. She said no that they told her the pump was in use! By this time I stop it at 32.00! And I said we have to pay for this but I am not sure how it will happen! We discover that they turned the pump on in error and had directed it to fill for $40.00! Inside she says we need to pay and I said you can take the gas back it is not our error and we only have the $20. The attendant makes a phone call, takes my daughter's $20 and sends us on our way! What an ordeal that ended up benefitting her. I wanted to see them siphon it out of these newer models that is impossible for the most part!

It was the funniest incident after it was all over! I hope to catch up on the poems I have missed over the next few days! I wanted you to know that I am so pleased that your imagery has gotten so strong over the last few months. Your thoughts and images are so congruent! So pat yourself on the back because I am!! Love you my Shobana! Your sam
