Naut, I am looking forward to having adventures with tales...
and, of course, pictures... I forgot to mention the shots of Crater Lake yesterday... the upper western edge of the crater catching first light, Wizard Island still in predawn twilight...
The hostel has no way to transfer photos to computer here, so that will wait most likely until I get home.

TAPS, there is no graceful way to clamber up or down
at least, not the first nor probably second day... though no doubt in time, one can revert to proper monkey agility. Meantime, one does said clambering without an audience if possible... or is resigned to providing some comic relief to someone else's day...

Oh goodie! You are on your way. What fun.
I haven't been in an upper bunk since I was a kid. Can't imagine trying to get back down anymore. LOL
