I was thinking just yesterday that I needed to email you, for I've MISSED you, Sister! I know that you speak the truth. The pay in money isn't anything amazing, but oh the experiences that I am adding to my heart's journal. Some of it just seems....unreal. I absolutely love these people. I've wondered if I'm too much of a bleeding heart for health care, but a trainer told me it was when my heart wasn't bleedin that I needed to worry.

Dear Darson - I've much to catch up on your blogs --- I have been busy to a beat of a wild band however, I had to comment especially on this ~ You are in a place right now that will prove to be so rewarding. Your heart will absorb much - and your gifts of God will be used to help and comfort these that are so important - yes, the wiser of Life...the Elders. I'm blessed by your note here because I simply see myself in the situations that you mention. It is about the 'dignity' and their utter innocence and TRUST - their childlike Trust ~ and it makes me sigh and even tear up as I recall some of those I cared for. I can recall the determination - the pride and the day to day struggle even to live. I can recall through your heart and your voice here how I felt daily - being part of their lives...it's important to Them. I will mention a little lady one time asking me to just sit for the couple of hours I was there...to not do anything else but, just sit - with her- to listen and to visit as she was 'lonely' ~ God bless you Darson.
