The idea for this story came from several incidents a friend of mine had with a mockingbird attacking her cat. The cat learned to bob and weave through the yard without getting hurt but when the featherbrained creature dive bombed her son she got out her beebe gun and dispatched it. Claws and beaks are no match for guns of any kind. lol
