Azur
I loved this Azur.  You are definitely rallying - slowly is great, and you had me laughing with 'copyrighted to me,'   Now -  if the girl's name is Peg you are going to have a lot trouble finding a title.

I liked how the seemingly mundane turns to a creative outlet! I liked how the garden will grow for it can be symbolic in more than one aspect of this poem! I wondered why you did not get a response as well. They probably never hung laundry before and it may have been quite foreign! sam

Azur
There's a lot in here, good imagery and hope for the better in the new season. My best, sir. BC-A, Bill's Roost

Azur ~ what neat piece of writing here - I see the 'red' (a warm  color) and I see this "and washed

 many times

 fine

lacy things, " and giggle ~~~ how often I  wash my fine linens, until I finally decide to go get a new batch of fine linens?    The red is warm and loving and the abstract art you project by using the 'pegs' is so perfectly popped in this whole canvas of ART ~ sheer art.  I love this, Azur - rest - and write when you can.  I so enjoy it.  Elyse

Sounds like you've come to the pause for seasonal change
a few more minutes of morning and afternoon, a promise of spring. that's part of it, I think, the lassitude and utter weariness just before the urge to clean house.

Absolutely fine for you to feel that way..and the poem was just great. It's nice to read and take things slow sometimes. I do that too. thank you so much for your visit and lovely comment.

Great imagery, Azur! I read it twice and enjoyed the effect
Random 'things' can be artistic indeed! Hope you are able to rest more and feel better.

well your dear delightful humour is still intact
Now while here everything is white with snow and the trees leafless and brown...a garden of bright pegs sounds rather fun. Get well soon darling.
