What a beautiful poem Kent and what an amazing tribute to your Mom.  I am sure she is smiling down on you from that special heaven reserved for those who knew how to love.  xoxoxo

The Glider

"I LEARNED MORE SITTING IN THAT GLIDER

THEN IN ALL OF MY SCHOOL DAYS"- What a wonderful thing to say about a mother. That she took great care to instill the things of importance into your heart and mind. The tone of this poem is like an old-time hymn and flows beatifully, like a glass of sweet tea on a warm day. Thank you for sharing this with me (us). A true gem that I will revisit again. Our deeds may won't get us into Heaven, but they furnish our mansions there. I'm sure your momma's place is stunningly furnished.
