Since I've never been in a relationship I do not feel I can relate...I do not feel the issue is just about who cheats more. After all, I think it is low of a single person to have an affair with a married person when chances are they would not like to be the other spouse.

My ex cheated, I left and never looked back! Now he lives all alone and his children could care less about him! Should have harnessed that drive for it cost him dearly in the end! sam

I saw it and still do see it as throwing out the trash. Financially both times was disastrous but that doesn't count much to me. I found a way around the first time when it was real hardship.....mainly with faith ....and it worked....still does.

It is tough in the world of marriage or single life when people take their vows so lightly. My husband and I consider our vows to be a covenant between the two of us and God. You don't break a covenant with God, He does not take kindly to such. I would not want to make God unhappy, he loved us enough to allow his son die for the sins of all the world. No I don't want to make him unhappy.

I would never put up with a man who has had an affair while being married. I cannot relate to it personally but if that were to happen to me, I would just go away with the children. I have always been self sufficient so I empathise with those who are not able to support themselves and the children. I have known so much misery that affairs have had in lovely people, it's just so depressing and I can tell you the children are the most affected either way actually.
