Re: For Elise

It always seems to run in streaks for me (I think I'm in one now!).  Until I feel confident again, I enter stuff by carefully pecking it out with my middle finger - like I'm doing now!  Regular touch-typing seems fraught with too much danger!

Re: I hate when that happens. It's always my best work, too!
Yes, I don't suppose I'd mind it quite so much if it happened while I was beating a dead horse, trying to get something out of a notion that just wasn't going anywhere. That could be useful.  Sounds like a great group.

Re: done it so many times
What I'm trying to learn is, what damn key am I hitting that makes this happen???  I mean, it could come in handy sometime when I don't want to wait for the back-arrow key to eat up stuff I don't want.

Re: Keystruck!
I have a little dancing paperclip in the upper right of my screen that asks if I want to save changes in a piece AFTER I've saved it.  Where was he when I needed him?

Yep.  Done it so many times, you'd think I would have learned my lesson by now.

Keystruck!
I can relate.  That's happened to me enough times that now I hit those keys after nearly every little entry when I'm working on something.
