What a tragic event! It will be some time for healing! So unfortunate the driver will not take responsibility! sam

{ You took the warm with the cold. I guess that’s a workable approach tothe grief, pleasures, and routines in life. BC-A, Bill’s RJLst

Have fun in Portugal and Happy Birthday to Ed ~ and I'm sorry for that family - I pray for their comfort to be very very strong and healing.  How powerfully tragic.  and for the hit and run driver - a lot of suffering must be going on within that soul as well.  Have a great time RRR - soak up some warmth, sun and just plain great fun.  Elyse

Sad occasions always bring tears and smiles
for those we have lost and those we haven't seen for a long while.  Have a great trip.

Flicking that switch
must have been agonising. Stay warm. Lots of snow in Cambridgeshire today but it's all gone now

I wish Ed a Happy Birthday...
and extend our sympathy to you on the loss of a friend. The coldness of the church reminded me of a midnight service we conducted one New Year's Eve. It was in a Chapel on a College Campus and when we arrived we discovered the church had no heat. Our teeth chattered while we sang! LOL Keep Looking Up! Dan

A lot of cold weather can rattle one's bones...Such an unfortunate situation with the funeral and all.

We used to abstain from meat during Lent but this time, we decided we would be vegetarian on Fridays. Sad about the funeral though. Have a lovely time in Portugal.
