I'm confused about why Canada's culture needs to change?
I mean, is Canada experiencing terrorist attacks or have you in the past - from your Muslim population? Preventative measures perhaps, based on assumptions made in the heat of fear mongering and manipulated perceptions? Problem is, thought policing/action is usually incorrect and the mark of a closed, oppressive society, similar to what happened in Nazi Germany. My politically different opinion..
Naut, I find your posts to be well-written through your heart felt beliefs; they surely make me think (even though I obviously and strongly disagree.) And for that, I salute you.

If you really want to be enlightened and
frightened at the same time......check out
"Muslim Mafia". I just received a copy from a friend....it focuses on the planning and organizations behind the planned Islimization of The Western World.......

Wow. We are headed for something nasty, methinks.
I feel like I'm in Rome about 480 AD watching the Visigoths coming.
Great stuff, Naut!

Nautikos, I've ordered two of Spencer's books; Stealth Jihad and Koran for Infidels. Your posts have sharpened my curiosity and, (I'm not sure yet if it is fortunate or unfortunate) my apprehension. I also watched the two videos from gapcohen's posts. I'm still wondering why no comments are being accepted for the one about the organized and totally rude, unruly behavior of those university students. When I was in school, they would have been SOOO kicked out right from the first heckling.
I definitely don't want to be an ostrich (kicks in the butt hurt!), so wonder if you would be so kind as to give me other book titles about this topic...pro and con? I'm sure you have a list. I add that my son is going to be so happy when he hears that his very liberal mom is even beginning to wonder if Muslim immigrants should not be obliged to become completely Canadian (culture, laws, manners, dress, beliefs) if they want to live here - his views are very like yours, and he has been proclaiming them for years.

Nautikos - This is a very straight forward write and I think you are right in your belief. Like you said sometime ago, the change should come from within. have a lovely time walking your dog and hope you meet that darling of a child again.

Thank you for your very lucid and lengthy answer to my query which in fact leaves me in more of a mental quandry than reading all about Islam does.
My first solution would be to deport all Muslim's out of Canada, because they believe in their own laws rather than the laws of any country. Matter of fact, Islam seems like a country with no land to practice their belief in.
We should get out of Afghanistan and deport all the Muslim's out of Canada back over to that place and be done with all of it. The only reason they are in North America is because they couldn't build a country of their own, it was easier to come and take a country that wasn't theirs and make it over.
I think we had better find a government that can deliver to Canadians who were born here the country that was built with the Judaeo/Christian traditions of the original European immigrants, and we had better make certain that religion and state are totally separate now however, because of the lessons learned about Islam.
It's high time that immigrants and citizens already here swear an allegiance (on the Constitution) to only Canada, and make it illegal to swear any allegiance to any other country or religion that thinks they have power over the people.
Seems like we are fighting Nazis again alright, these Islamo ones hide behind women and children civilians, grow and sell their own drugs to buy weapons, and move wherever they want to with masks on.
The only difference between Islam and the Hell's Angel's is, the biker gang don't wear masks.

This is a wonderful post, but it also makes it seem like things are
hopeless, and that multi culturalism and everything else happen by accident. It didnt! Do you thing that psychologist, and heads of unions and all those in charge of our corrupt education system and gov were accidentally voted in. I assure you it was a planned slow system of take over. I am not yet sure exactly how, but it doesnt matter. What matters is what we have now. The only way to get our country back is slow planned and very carefully put back the right people in power. How do we change the education system, by putting the right people in power......Any ideas on how we can begin that process? :) it seems hopeless to me, but its the only way.

Perhaps the way Britain is heading faster than we are......immigrants will
flee to their former colonies again, thus increasing our (Aust/Canada) populations with what we are familiar with. Although in Australia, our first priority is can you win us a gold at the Olympic games. LOL.

I am afraid that I was afraid that your answer to WileyJohn's questions would be something like this. Well written post and I think I understand your delimna. Are you able to resign yourself to basically just letting things just take their own course?
