I bet they'll be there the next time. For those bloggers who can't find a group to join, it might me a good idea to form their own.

It's great to find the RIGHT writers club!
I went to one for a while, but what I was writing was not a genre anyone there was at all into.

Re: Writing club.
I suggested something like this... see my BWC blog... It never took off.

Writing club.
I think a writing club would be great to join. Critiquing each other's stories and articles. Damn I envy you pat. I'm a member of Zoetrope.com, and that's pretty good. But it lacks the personal relationships that you guys seem to have. Perhaps we here, on Blogit, should look into starting our own online writer's club - lord knows we all love writing. Just a thought.

I would love to start a writing club here, but would have to cut down on my work hours first. It was pretty cool to get something so interesting from an unexpected source!

It's great you get something out of such a group. I have long since concluded that I would never join one - I have too much regard for others to inflict my impatience and congenital lack of reverence on a group of struggling writers, especially since I ain't one myself...

Sounds like a winner of a meeting. Makes me almost think of searching one out here in this fair city of ours.

How wonderful to have a productive meeting like that. I nearly
joined a group in Australia but when they found out my play had been a winner in a comp.they refused to have me, Said they would be too nervous with me in the group.I said this is crazy...I am just a beginner but No. Wiley and I talk about joining something here.Maybe.
