Beautiful and haunting
and a memory of something long ago. A wish unfulfilled and what a lucky thing for me it was.

Many have come to this realization after it was all over.

this was so deep and almost questioning as if to yourself.  What form does love take anyway only that we know when it is there or when it is not.  do you feel better now it is re written and does it speak truth.  I loved the piece anyhow. thanks for sharing

Mystery ~ we often do not recognize that love has many forms that touch us unaware!

Marta
A mastrpiece, and the entire gist of the poem is compressed in one line that simply stands out: "I sinned by offering you water that could  have never satiated your thirst." xoxoxo
