Shobs,
Shobana, I fall short of words. You are on fire, fire of finest poetry.  Elysian wrote, inspired by this and she did it as only she could do it. I just applauded in wonder.

I hope you had a great weekend! I liked this poem very much! It portrays innocence and begs the question at the same time with poignant references. I thought it was very well blended and non threatening but more to evoke thought! KUDOS and a Love you, too! Your sam

Yes, there is innocence born anew every day..
In a child's eyes, in loving, sharing, learning..if only there was a totality of awareness and embrace, as so beautifully conveyed here through your verse. Thank you.

How very very sweet and yes, poignant --- because we all do ask that question of innocence and I believe truly Shobana that we can become as innocent as a child again; no matter.  Beautiful poetry, Shobana ~ Elyse

Yes there is innocence... I see it every day in the eyes of children... and even in those of young people who still believe in things I have long since found out to not be.  There IS innocence Shobana :-)  Beautiful poem   xoxoxo

I saw one of those little darlings when I walked my dog this afternoon, sitting in his stroller, wide-eyed, with glowing cheeks, and as we got close he reached out for my fluffy poodle. Mom asked if he could pet him, I said sure, and he put his little hands in the doggie's fur and cooed with delight - and even though it was cloudy, suddenly the sun came up for me...

Some of the things I've seen have made me ask that question...Dealing with younger people I still find that innocence, I am thankful to say.
