and regarding profit.

all the money made by everybody supporting Global Warming is just a drop in the bucket compared to the profits made by Exxon-Mobil alone -- let alone the rest of the oil industry.

Profit motive being a criterion, then the weight of logic would fall overwhelmingly favorably on the side of backers of Warming.

ditto.

setting up a straw man in this professor Phil Jones.

You have not and cannot dispute the data I have presented from NOAA and NASA.  I wonder why the hell you haven't gone to their web sites and researched their information on Global Warming.  Might it be because the data would put your argument into a cocked hat?

how come you are revisiting old, tired and discredited arguments?

you are using over and over the statements of one scientist, whose data apparently has some faults in it.

and the hockey stick graph -- that one I never used.  The graph I used is data from ice samples that clearly shows a correlation between increased CO2 levels and increased temperature.

One scientist's admissions does not an argument make.  Hard data does.  And again (you don't listen very well do you?) there is ample data on NASA and NOAA websites to demonstrate Global Warming.

You like to target individuals, such as Professor Phil Jones and Al Gore and make them the spearhead of the issue, when, in reality, they are just using information from the vast majority of scientists (and NOAA and NASA and other reliable data sources) that shows indeed that there is Global Warming.

that's just what it says it is -- opinion -- not a fact piece with data to support the allegations.

and the apparent contradictions?  -- they are happening now.  droughts in Texas, California, Four Corners region, Australia, etc. -- excess precipitation in other places -- and these contradictory phenomena can certainly be due to the same source -- warming causing drying in some places and drawing moisture from the oceans and large bodies of water in others and dumping it, causing, in effect, an overabundance of water.

Again, this is a biased opinion piece from a biased source, with no real factual data.

I have addressed some of this.  First, check the NOAA data, which shows that temperatures for the past several years have been warmer than norm.

And about Himalaya glaciers -- that was also addressed -- the issue there is not whether the glaciers will melt -- that is pretty much agreed on -- it is on WHEN they will melt -- and 2035 apparently is too soon a date for that.

doesn't have any evidence at all about Global Warming -- just the tired old snow thing --it's a piece of worn out, bias, a commentary, not a news story with factual data from a source that, due to its natural bias, is highly suspect.

and about the professor -- fine -- but I have shown data from NASA and NOAA that show the warming is real.

IF WE ALL BELIEVE THE WAY YOU DO WE ALL WILL CRY

You tell me how you and your children are going to feed your families in the next few years if we don't avert the disaster.

But I have facts on my side .

In the meantime, I'll check out your links.
