every family has something like this going on
but most families wont talk about it much, its only when you look deeper inside their life that you will be surprised to find that yours is not as bad as theirs.

Lustorlove
I am so sorry I know that is hurtful. No I am an only child and there was no one to do such a thing. I am so sorry that happened to you. God bless you dear one.

so glad you were able to share these moments with your daughters and that you were able to place flowers in memorial.  Elyse

My maternal grandfather was so distraught over my grandfather's death she was incapable of selecting his gravesite (he died suddenly). My Dad chose a spot. Years later she ended up moving him into a mausoleum without telling my father. He went to a dug up grave where she then told him what had gone down. The two had always had a tense relationship (long story), and this did not help things. They always stayed in touch though.

Lustorlove - Nothing like this happening over here ..but how unfortunate for this to happen to you. Take care. It's nice you went and visited the grave.

Not quite! There were suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of my sister but the aunt who promised to reveal it ending up taking it to her grave! We may never know! Perhaps this is one of those things that's better left unsaid! I have wondered about it for five decades, though! sam

My wife's father
decided he wanted nothing more to do with her about fifteen years ago and hasn't communicated since. I consider it to be his loss...
