Thank you! You picked up on an important point when you mentioned style. I'm unusualy satisfied with this piece because it started out awkwardly rhymed, with clunky tortured syntax and headed for five stanzas. It was too wonderful an idea to present like that, so I kept on tweaking, shifting and discarding until it sounded natural - almost like prose only better.

Yeah, well, we all agreed that anyone at the wedding who said, "How cute!" would get thrown out! Peg was hard of hearing, but she'd catch a lot of stuff she wasn't supposed to.
