Well written post strat.  I loved reading it and remembering not only last Sunday's game but also various and sundry times in my life.  (I cannot stand getting on my knees anymore--not even to pray, or to reach for something that rolled under the bed.)  That's what happens when you get past 70.)

I have to admit this was one of the best Super Bowls I have seen since the catch by the defense of the Rams a few years ago that sealed the win! It was great for the Saints! I thought some of the commercials weren't as good! But the Who did rock once they got going! sam

Kabu's right! After forty, is time for a rocker (chair) & to wear a shawl!
Strat,
I didn't mean YOU, Pal. It was a flashback of the days when we couldn't trust ANYBODY over forty! I used to buy EVERY new "Who" album, (vinyl) and for years, only liked one or two cuts on the whole thing. Still, it was well worth the money. "Who's Next" was my all-time favorite. I loved every song on that masterpiece, which kept me coming back, and buying more.
Today I watched an hour-long program about them, on the "Documentaey Channel." Ah, the MEMORIES of such greatness!

Once a performer always a performer and if your good your good
ageless are the best. I don't know him anymore but I think my son is moving more into teaching areas and commercials.....guess he's sick of carting drum kits around Sydney now he's nearly 40.
