The Season of the Quilts
A very amusing poem.  I loved 'a sew and so.'  Such wit!

That was a great poem, very witty - it made me laugh more than once - and it also give a real impression of you as the person writing.

Quilts
Merkie, How wonderful that your quilts holds the love intended for the receiver and the memories held for the one under the cover to dream on. My Mom made quilts and I still have some and the others went to her grand kids, great and great greats. Lv. Fema

In my esteem you have advanced a knotch.
I love a woman who writes poetry almost as much as I love one who quilts.
I just love quilts.  I hope someday you will show us some of your pictures.

Merkie - I was totally touched deep in my heart by the Love you 'quilt' for others - what a sacrifice of Love truly.  I once tried to quilt (thinking of a quilt my mother made for my eldest daughter) for my new grandson's birth.  I found the scraps in my closet just last week - I did a total of 8 blocks (embroidering on each block) and then life got busier and well, I wish I had the patience and gift that you obviously have - and to be able to share a heart full of Love ~ as you do.

I hope we get to see pics shared of these gifts one day... ~ Elyse
