You've covered winter well with these beautiful poems.
"....all the world a blanket white
of snow so cold and crisp and light..."

I love this one, such fine imagery:
frosted morning calm
icy trees shivering cold
dressed in winter white
KUDOS all the day long! So nice to see you more often, don't go away for a long time again, please! sam/Shelly

"But clad in dresses frothy white, Dancing- in shivering delight", I love these lines Merkie...and the way you rapped that winter chill around the trees. Your poetry makes me want to head for the Mountains, there's no snow down here right now, it's been so mild.

You must live in an enchanted land where such images emerge from nature.
