Probably a little late since it's been a few hours but I'm wishing you luck nonetheless. Shoveling snow myself I did not find it to be too cold out.

--got one right outside the door! Maybe just transfer a few things from the official one, next chance...
In college we used to hang bags of perishables outside the window...
In a certain city, we discovered seagulls would have a picnic on anything we put out on the ledge...
