What does one say to someone who's about to undergo root canal work, one of life's truly unpleasant experiences? "Hope it isn't painful?" Naah, there isn't much pain involved these days..."Hope it isn't too unpleasant?" It's
always too unpleasant...I give up, but you know what I mean...
