This is intriguing and got me thinking that there are many, many different kinds of Dark - friendly Darks, threatening Darks, the mysterious Dark that is made more intense and at the same time silvery bright by moonlight, the frightening Dark at the bottom of the basement staircase when I was a little boy...and the Dark of the good night Dylam Thomas speaks of, into which we shall go, but not gently...

I'm no good in the dark anymore and have those auto lights outside. LOL Good post luv, perhaps I should try to get around the house in the dark

I would probably fall over some thing that would bite me so that I would
scream and that would wake the neighbours a mile away and they would bring the police and that would mean questions over coffee and mess up my kitchen just after I had cleaned away all the supper things and washed the floor so me I take a torch cos I can't see when it's dark.

I prefer the darkness as well, it makes it easier to deal with my migraines! The downside is that my kids grew up in dimmest light! But, they are not afraid of the dark! So, exposure is everything! I said to Elyse earlier I was up with the bats last night! lol sam

The thing about dark world is that sometimes its denizens
are there before you, their eyes have adjusted, they know where everything is. And you, coming along, "feeling" your way may not even know they're lurking. They may be harmless. But they're out there.
