Do laughing dogs bite also?

My dog smiles for sure, but I'd say she's laughing and happy when that tail of hers is wagging like crazy.

My dog just stares at me, trying to communicate with me, telepathically.
Naut,
When I can't ignore him any longer, or more acurately, when he can't wait any longer, he gets right up in my face and locks eyes with me. When I sigh, and ask him if he wants to go outside, he runs in front of the door and does his best whirling-Dervish impersonation, spinning in circles, unable to contain himself, over his having again sucessfully communicated his thoughts, via mental telepathy!

How cool, yes I believe 2 of my doggies laugh...they are labs and I wonder if it's more a breed thing?  I must get that book, sounds interesting.  Elyse ~ loving dogs with personalities.

my dog does all that too.
I feel like I know my dog so well that she does things I already said she would beforehand do ha ha...I believe they understand us more than we think too.

I'm with you on the dog laughing, Nautikos. Bud is very good at showing me when he finds me amusingly naive...even his eyes laugh then.

I thought the dog responds just like a human being when petted...
except he or she cannot speak!

Awww . . .  loved knowing this.  I have a cat, and I'm pretty sure he has a long list of emotions he shows by barely twitching a whisker, but I'll observe more closely.

I have often seen a dog laugh I think that all animals have much higher
intelligent patterns than we have ever given them credit for.....and the more time you spend with an animal the more you appreciate their abilities. This cat here can and will do almost anything we ask of him ....and knows exactly how to drive Wiley crazy and how to get me to potect him from the big fellow.
