You're very kind - thank you so much! I'll try not to disappoint. Laughter makes things bearable, doesn't it!
PS I've since gotten my hair back.

Re: Er... oops. I meant Your Balditude.
Quite all right - on my blogsite we don't stand on ceremony. Fact is, I answer to just about anything here. Most of all, thank you for your visit because I wasn't at all sure how a light-hearted treatment of cancer would be received.

Re: Chemo
Thank you, Sam! I tried hard to get an ode or lament out of it, but frankly this was all that came, I'm that happy to be alive! My wife (and, as you'll see, my son) was my rock through it all.

re Poem 1
Thank you, Elyse, for a very gracious visit. Clearly, you know what I'm talking about. Besides writing poems, another spinoff benefit has been my decision to volunteer one day a week to teach cartooning to little kids who have cancer. It's bad enough for adults to deal with, but for little kids who haven't lived yet, it's unthinkable. I feel I owe someone something bigtime because I was lucky and blessed.

God bless you ~ Bob
I can say nothing but I admire you tremendously for going through such and now, going forth in strength. and for tending to your wife all the while. God bless you.
You see I took care of my 89 year old Mother in law here for a year - lympathic ca and she underwent part chemo/radiation and yes, I suffered with her and for her times. She passed - I'm certain it took its toll on her already ill and frail body.
I am thankful to God that he has healed you. Elyse
