Avon
I had to read it twice - the second time aloud.  Beautifully done.

Pat
I really like these 'poems of life' of yours. Sadly, the Avon lady doesn't come around any more here either, and I have to order my Skin-So-Soft from Avon directly. It's been my favourite mosquito repellent ever since I stopped using DEET...

Young Avon Lady
It's not an easy job.  I admire women who take it on and stick to it for however long they can.

LOL - cute poem, Pat-B! My mom used to look forward to the Avon lady ringing her bell. She loved cosmetics, and would spend a good hour or two choosing what she wanted, but I think both she and the Avon lady enjoyed their chats too.
