I was visiting my friend for I lived in Van Nuys and when I was finally able to get home My home was a complete loss..I was living in my husband real estate office till we found a place to live..Then I too found out my husband wanted a divorce so I know what you mean about not a fun time. I was also in valencia in the valencia earthquake
it was one of the scariest things that I had experienced, and my home was also red flagged, so I was homeless for a while until help came alone, homeless with two babies and a crazy x stalking me, it was not a fun time.

It is so hard to fully imagine others suffering, but this is an example of what it would feel like, even a tiny tremor would be enough, nice writing.
