So hope you get this account for 'home" ~ nothing like being nervous about an area in the dusk or dark. I just simply couldn't do it. But now, reading up further I see you're feeling better - so I won't tell you to take some hot tea and a bowl of chili and go to bed. (it's still a good idea when you're feeling unwell.)

The train travails as one could call the confusing splits to get into the right carriage. Well written travellogue, Mal.

Hoping you feel better. Being sick with so much to do makes it feel so much worse...Baltimore sounds like the bad place you describe as not wanting to walk around at night.

Actually I remember Battasea as a lovely spot back in the sixties. Things
and places change of course. Sounds horrid now. Good luck withthe work and I do hope you feelbetter soon. Imagine the train fiasco.....saving money or what?

I did not know that trains split the way you described! I think it could become a nightmare as you almost went through! I wish you well on getting the account! so nice to be able to work from when these types of accounts come up that are not in the safest of areas! Feel better, too! Headaches just take one out of their game! sam

I loved Battersea when I was over, Malcolm. I hope things are continuing to go well for you.
