Amen! I hate it when people say I'm being anal when I express not being too pleased at lateness. People say that appearance is the first impression one makes. I disagree. The time one arrives is.

I agree.
I always like to be a little early - rather than late and I don't like it when people are late for me I find it rude, especially when I have made the effort.
