HA It seems we all are pretty much lost and doing the best we can . . . or maybe we could do better. There's much to be said for spontaneity and friendliness, and your boss sounded like she needed a bit of caring-for, herself. IOW (in other words) you deserve a posy for trying.

Which takes me to wise men learn more from fools than fools do from wise men! Silence is golden especially when the ambiance is so ruined with ranting! sam
