I understand....
going back to a former parish was frowned upon by our church structure for many years. As a result we lost contact with many friends who were close to us. We did not want to do anything to hinder the new pastor who followed us. In more recent years that rule has been relaxed and we have renewed relationships with many wonderful old friend. Keep Looking Up! Dan

Sounds like fun
It's interesting to see how some things move on and others remain just the same isn't it?

Always fun to go back and see old friends, and due to circumstance you were able to do so without causing a major storm.

Yum,,,,A Christmas dinner anytime is fun,,,in Australia they have them
in July. It is so people can enjoy a hot roast Turkey meal and pudding in the cold weather. Australia clings so much to the British heritage.
